JEFFREY ALLEN METILLY
From a young age Jeffrey always had a passion for design. From spending hours as a teenager creating drawings and full floor plans in his room to studying architecture in high school and college, interiors have always been his true passion.
Since 2002, Jeffrey has focused his career on his passion for interior design. Having worked primarily in retail merchandisng and sales he left that world to focus on his true passion. He went to work with a mentor in Westport, CT then onto working in various showrooms as an interior designer, merchandiser and buyer in Connecticut then in San Francisco, Paris, Los Angeles and in New York City. He’s collaborated with other designers in Connecticut, San Francisco, Paris and Los Angeles. He loves to collaborate and work with clients closely to achieve their vision.
OUR PROCESS
CONSULTATION
We will meet to determine the needs of the space and you as the client, and to find the unique creative inspiration for your project that will help guide the entire process. We will discuss the budget and scope of work and tailor a project proposal to create a distinct design for your specific needs.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
During this phase, we work closely with clients, sharing furniture plans, mood boards, and inspiration for lighting, rugs, vintage/antique finds, and accessories, down to every last detail. As things come together, we move to more detailed plans/elevations, site drawings, and 3D renderings of the finished spaces.
IMPLEMENTATION
Implementation is handled by us starting with the ordering, tracking, and final inspection upon delivery of all furniture, furnishings, fabrics, and accessories and culminating in the final finished installation of the project. This includes coordinating schedules, moving & storage, and partnering with specialists such as art or lighting consultants, and craftsmen if needed. The end result is a polished finished product ready to inhabit and enjoy.
